In an interview with India Today, Virat spoke about the media frenzy around his marriage with Anushka and said, "I think it's only as difficult as you want it to be. I don't think we have focused on it at all. The intention was obviously to focus on what we were doing and if we look at public opinion and work according to that...I mean, you can't move forward, you know [sic]". He also adds that it's the amount of negativity that gets on the cricketer's nerves.
