Vikas Bahl to Be Given Directorial Credit for Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 As He Gets Cleared of Sexual Misconduct Charges

Vikas Bahl has films such as Chillar Party (2011), Queen (2014) and Shaandaar (2015) to his credit. In the wake of the Me Too Movement in India, Vikas Bahl was also one of the shocking names that had come in the open. This happened in 2017 when he was accused of sexual misconduct charges by one of his former employee of Phantom Films. At that time, he was directing Hrithik Roshan’s film Super 30. The shocking revelation led to his removal from the directorial position. But according to latest reports, Vikas has been cleared of all the sexual misconduct charges. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Shibasish Sarkar, Group CEO, Reliance Entertainment, has confirmed that Vikas Bahl has been levelled from all the allegations made against him. Shibasish was quoted in saying, “Yes, it is that the internal complaints committee report has exonerated Vikas Bahl. The production house Phantom Films was formed by Vikash Bahl, Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu Mantena. When this news of sexual misconduct was broken, it not just affected the partnership but it also led to the dissolution of Phanton Films. Not just that, Anurag Kashyap took over the post-production responsibility of Super 30, reported Huffington Post. Mirror also reports that, after getting a clean chit Vikas Bahl has filed a defamation suit against his former partners of Phantom Films.
