Here comes big news that would make all Vijay Deverakonda fans beam from ear to ear. For the ones who wondered when will the Arjun Reddy actor follow Dulquer Salmaan's footsteps and foray into Bollywood, the wait may not be too long. If a recent report by Bollywood Hungama is to believe, the actor is all set to mark his debut with Ranveer Singh's '83 - a movie on India's first Cricket World Cup victory. The film is not essentially a biopic but the Padmaavat actor will play Kapil Dev in the movie and Vijay will reprise the role of Krishnamachari Srikkanth. The makers have already zeroed in the Tamil actor and he has even given his nod for it. While Ranveer will play the captain of the Indian cricket team, Vijay will play the opening batsman who's very close to Kapil Dev even off the field. The movie is being helmed by Kabir Khan and will go on floors early next year. While the South star is a big sensation today, it would be interesting to see his camaraderie with Ranveer on the big screen. During the release of Mahendra Singh Dhoni's biopic, there were reports of Fawad Khan playing Virat Kohli in the film.
