Vidyut Jamwal Acquitted in the 2007 Assault Case by a Mumbai Court

The Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Bandra has acquitted actor Vidyut Jamwal in a 2007 assault case. The case which is dated back on August 31 and September 1, 2007, when Vidyut Jamwal was partying with his friends at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Rahul Suri, a Juhu-based businessman pushed one of Vidyut Jamwal's friend that led to a fight. It is also reported that Vidyut's friend Harishnath Goswami hit a glass bottle on Suri's head. The Commando actor was charged with various sections of the Indian Penal Code including causing grievous hurt, armed with a weapon and being a part of an unlawful assembly with common attention. Today (June 17), Mumbai's Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Bandra, has acquitted actor Vidyut Jamwal of all the charges. Jamwal's friend Harishnath Goswami the major accused in the 2007 assault case is also acquitted by Metropolitan Magistrate Court.
