Ever since the news of Kartik Aaryan entering the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, the fans are in with numerous questions. From how can the makers possibly replace Akshay Kumar to will he atleast do a cameo, the fans are hurling the makers with doubts on social media. Amid all this, director Aneez Bazmi dropped a hint that Vidya Balan who was a prominent part of the first installment, can very much be a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 as well! For those uninitiated, Vidya played the role of a woman with dissociative identity disorder. She switched into two personalities viz Avni and Manjulika. Her thrilling performance on "Mere Dholna" song was the highlight of the flick. Now, as the sequel rolls out, what happens to this character? Or will she be a part of the film with a complete new role?
Speaking with Bollywood Hungama, the director said that the title track and "Mere Dholna" will be recreated. However, he further tried to tease saying it could be picturised on Kartik, Kiara Advani or Vidya might just reprise her role and perform it herself!
Now, that was one hint fans were waiting for! It would be indeed wonderful if Khiladi Kumar and Vidya actually reprise their roles in the film. Or else, what's the point in calling it a sequel, right? The first look of the film had Kartik in the look Akshay from the previous part. It also stars Kiara Advani in the lead. About Vidya, we really want her to be back. Do you?
