It came to us as a big shocker when Meesha Shafi went on to accuse Ali Zafar of sexual harassment during a concert in 2017. And now, a video of the jam session in which the incident happened has been leaked online.  In the video, Meesha and Ali are seen jamming with a bunch of people at Ali's residence on December 21 last year, and according to a source, "This was in the presence of her manager, Ali's manager, the event planner and 9 band members." Two days later, on December 23, Meesha and Ali performed together at a concert in Islamabad.

However, two women - Aqsa Ali and Kanza Munir - who claim they were present at the jam session have said that Meesha is lying. "I am astonished that she would take a lie to this level which so many of us can prove wrong," Aqsa wrote on Instagram, while Kanza accused her of misusing the #MeToo movement. "It would be great if this important movement isn't taken for granted or misused for personal reasons stealing limelight from real causes," she took to Instagram to write.

Watch the leaked video from jam session where Meesha Shafi alleged Ali Zafar molested her here.

Not only were fans shocked but they were also outraged. Ali responded to the allegations and has slapped Meesha with a legal notice. The singer has asked her to either apologise to him or pay him Rs. 6 crore! Geo News reported that if Shafi doesn't apologise to the singer for the false allegations, she will have to pay the money under the Defamation Ordinance. The report further stated that a defamation case will be filed against her if she refrains from deleting the tweet and doesn't apologise before April 23, 2018.

After Pakistani actress-model-singer accused actor Ali Zafar of sexual harassment -- a claim he has denied -- more women have come forward with similar allegations. The women, while lending support Shafi, tweeted saying she was not alone and they had faced similar experiences, reported Geo News. Make-up artist Leena Ghani thanked Shafi for being brave enough to speak out.

Meanwhile, Zafar told a media portal, "I categorically deny any and all claims of harassment lodged against me by Ms Shafi. I intend to take this through the courts of law and to address this professionally and seriously rather than to lodge any allegations here, contesting personal vendettas on social media and in turn disrespecting the movement, my family, the industry and my fans. Ultimately I am a strong believer that the truth, always prevails." Meesha had opened up about facing sexual harassment and called it a traumatic experience.
