Vicky Kaushal Makes His Singing Debut with Manmarziyaan Song F for Fyaar

For the first time in his career, writer-director Anurag Kashyap is making a romantic drama about relationships and love with Manmarziyaan. Also, for the first time, he is working with actors like Taapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan. And since Manmarziyaan is a romantic movie, expect songs and by the director's own admission, 15 songs at that! One of the most interesting things about Manmarziyaan's soundtrack is that it will also mark the singing debut of the talented Vicky Kaushal.

Vicky, who plays the third angle in the love triangle, has got noticed in the trailer for his funky appearance. He is playing a DJ in the movie, involved in a passionate romance with Taapsee's character. He will also be giving his vocals to the song F Se Fyaar, that is composed by Amit Trivedi. The composer confirmed to the media about this development. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, he said, "Since Vicky plays a DJ in the movie, we felt it would be great if he could sing a few lines in the song to give a real feel to it. It has come out well. When Vicky heard the song, he was pleasantly surprised to hear his voice. He enjoyed the singing process." Well, that's another feather in the cap of Kaushal. Vicky has worked with Anurag earlier in Bombay Velvet and Raman Raghav 2.0.

Vicky, who has recently won the Best Supporting Actor at IFFM 2018 for his performance in Sanju, is quite in demand in Bollywood this year. In 2018, he has given back-to-back scintillating performances in Love Per Square Foot, Raazi, Lust Stories and Sanju. He has also bagged a biggie in Karan Johar's multi-starrer, Takht.

Speaking to BH about working with Anurag again, Vickey said,"“I am very excited and I have said this to Anurag as well, but I feel like I should collaborate with him once in every two-three years because he really makes you reinvent yourself as an actor, which I feel is very important for me. Each time I work with him, I see something new in myself and that’s what happened in Manmarziyaan as well." Manmarziyaan will release on September 14.
