Monday (May 27), Bollywood lost a legendary action director and filmmaker, Veeru Devgan. Ajay Devgan's father has been one of the most respected and talented action choreographers in Bollywood and his loss has come as shock for the film fraternity. A prayer meet is being held for the late filmmaker in Juhu today and we recently shared pictures of Ajay arriving with his mother Veena Devgan, Kajol and daughter Nysa. The family has been receiving several guests at their residence since a couple of days as celebrities and friends visited to convey their condolences to the family. At the prayer meet too, Ajay Devgn's friends and colleagues from the industry have started to arrive. Bollywood's veteran actor, Amitabh Bachchan was also spotted arriving with Abhishek Bachchan. Veeru Devgan's funeral was held at Vile Parle West Crematorium on 27th May 2019 where Ajay performed the last rites. Several Bollywood celebrities including Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Suniel Shetty had arrived to pay their last respects. For today's prayer meet too, we are expecting major Bollywood celebrities to pay their last respects.
