Veere Di Wedding Box Office Collection Day 4: Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor’s Movie Impresses on Its First Monday, Collects Total Rs. 42.56 Crore

Veere Di Wedding has been making and breaking records at the box office. Despite trolls and a couple of negative responses to the movie, Veere Di Wedding has been doing great at the box office. It opened to approximately Rs. 10 crores, making it the third highest opener this year. The all-female cast film has been in the news for almost all the right and wrong reasons. First, there was a huge debate over the film flaunting the women empowerment and feminism banner (which they didn't) and after the film released, the internet was obsessed with Swara Bhasker's masturbation scene in the film.

Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, tweeted, "#VeereDiWedding passes crucial 'Monday Test'... North India continues to contribute strongly... Decline on Mon [vis-à-vis Fri] is a normal 43.55% - GOOD TRENDING... Eyeing ₹ 54 cr [+/-] biz in Week 1... Fri 10.70 cr, Sat 12.25 cr, Sun 13.57 cr, Mon 6.04 cr. Total: ₹ 42.56 cr." That's quite amazing, if you ask us! Veere Di Wedding got such a brilliant response that Bhavesh Joshi Superhero got kicked out of the theatres early. Kareena, Sonam, Swara and Shikha have cleared the air that the film's motive is not to promote women empowerment or feminism. Despite that, people have been calling out the film but then there are also a lot of people who loved the movie.
