Veere Di Wedding Box Office Collection Day 2: Kareena Kapoor-Sonam Kapoor Starrer is a RAMPAGE! Collects Rs 12.25 Crore

Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania are reigning at the box office and how! After a hugely successful start on day one (Rs 10.70 crore), the film continues to do excellent business. The early estimates of day two collections of Veere Di Wedding were reported to be Rs 12 crore! Now, the official figures have been revealed and the film has minted Rs 12. 25 crore on day two. Which means, the total collection of the film sums up to Rs 22.95 crore and that is a big deal! this clearly means the audience is heading to the theatres to check out what the film has in store for them.

Yesterday, producer if the film, Ekta Kapoor mentioned how she was demotivated by some people from the industry for making a film without heroes in them. Well, these numbers prove that the future is female! Need we say more?

Talking about Veere Di Wedding, they are cast in a coming-of-age story revolving around the lives of four friends who deal with the trials and tribulations regarding family acceptance, marriage and societal perceptions in the modern-day world. The movie has drawn a lot of interest especially as it is Kareena's first film since she became a mother, and Sonam's first movie to release since her wedding. For Swara, it is a different zone that she is stepping into and Shikha is making her debut with the project, directed by Shashanka Ghosh. The film is co-produced by Rhea Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Nikhil Dwivedi.
