After back to back potboilers, Varun Dhawan has taken a different route for his next movie, October. He is collaborating with director Shoojit Sircar for the first time in this unusual story about love. Double Mint girl Banita Sandhu is making her Bollywood debut in the movie. Sircar is known for making offbeat but commercial movies like Yahaan, Vicky Donor, Madras Cafe and Piku. His movies get that decent run at the box office while also winning over the critics.
The trailer has already given us the idea that October is not like any movie that Varun Dhawan has done before and that includes Badlapur. The makers had arranged special screenings for celebs and certain sections of the press and some of them have gone on Twitter to praise the movie and Varun's performance.
