Varun Dhawan Says He's Humoured by the Reports Claiming VT Station is Being Recreated in London for Coolie No 1

Varun Dhawan is all set to star in one of the most-awaited remakes, Coolie No 1. The actor will be working with his father David Dhawan who also directed the original film starring Govinda. The comedy-drama has roped in actress Sara Ali Khan to reprise the role of Karisma Kapoor and well, fans are excited to see this new 'Jodi' hit it off on screen. Latest reports suggested that Varun and Sara were all set to Thai capital city – Bangkok for their first schedule. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, after the Bangkok schedule, the cast and crew will head to Goa for the next schedule. Coolie No 1: Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan Starrer All Set to Release on Labour Day 2020.

While these were the reports doing the rounds, a portal recently reported that VT station will be recreated in London for the Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan starrer. The reported stated that "A huge set has been built near London. The entire VT station has been recreated there owing to the security concerns of shooting at the actual location."

Sharing the article on his Twitter account, Varun rubbished this news and said, "Not true but this actually made me laugh thank u for the humour."

According to the report, David Dhawan finds London lucky for him and hence wanted to shoot a part of Coolie No 1 there. His 2017 film, Judwaa 2 was shot in the UK city and the film did manage to make big bucks at the box office but going by Varun's response, it seems highly unlikely that the makers would spend so much on erecting an entire VT station set in London.  Coolie No 1 Remake: Jacqueline Fernandez Wants To Be a Part of Varun Dhawan-Sara Ali Khan's Film?

Coolie No 1 is slated for a May 1, 2020, Labour Day release. Prior to that, Varun will be wrapping up his dance film, Street Dancer 3D which the actor has been currently shooting while Sara will be seen in Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal 2 in February 2020.
