The netizens are quite miffed with the Bollywood fraternity for taking no/diplomatic stand against about the current political situation in India. The violence caused by the Delhi police against the students of Jamia Millia Islamia University while they were conducting an anti-CAA protest, was condemned by many. However, Twitterati has been expecting some bold stand from the b-town stars. While the top stars are yet to comment on the situation, some of them from the fraternity did raise their voice. At the trailer launch of Street Dancer 3D, Varun Dhawan too was asked to comment on the same. Anti-CAA Protests: Parineeti Chopra Takes a Bold Stand, Says 'Forget CAB We Need to Pass a Bill to Not Call Our Country a Democracy Anymore'.

The actor did give a lengthy answer but refused to take a stand as of now as he said he wasn't 100% aware about all the sides of the situation. He also said that it is very easy to comment or write about it but one has to take a note of all the versions of the story. He assured that he would take a stand and comment on the same but only after he studied the whole situation first. However, speaking of the violence, he added that any kind of force used against a peaceful protest is wrong. Check out the video below.
