The period drama is reportedly set in the pre-partition era, and is directed by Abhishek Varman of 2 States fame. Apart from Varun and Alia Kalank also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Kunal Kemmu, Kiara Advani, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt.
