Varun Dhawan is teaming up with the director Sriram Raghavan, the second time after their critically acclaimed film, Badlapur. This time the Andhadhun director is making a film based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. This film will be reportedly a tribute to him and also will focus on his relationship with his father. It will star Varun as the lead in his role and he is damn excited about the same. Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon Reach Out to Fan Who Survived an Acid Attack Via Video Call, Wish Her a Speedy Recovery.

Producer of this project, Dinesh Vijan told Mumbai Mirror, "Arun Khetarpal was one of Poona Horse’s most celebrated Lieutenants. When Mukesh (his brother) narrated his story in Delhi, we were already enamoured by his bravery but what connected me more was Arun’s equation with his father. The bond that one share with one’s father is usually left unexplored."

Meanwhile, the lead actor confirmed the same saying, "When I met Arun’s brother Mukesh, I was moved. I too have a brother and I can’t understand what he must have gone through. And it’s our responsibility to tell it correctly. This is the most important film of my career and I’m excited to start work with Sriram again. I hope all Indians will feel as proud when they see our story unfold on screen. "

Well, we all know that the audience loves to watch the tales of brave fighters on the silver screen. And Bollywood has the best knack to present it in front of this audience. Varun too has never experimented something like this so it will be like a breath of fresh air for his fans as well. For now, we will see Varun in light-hearted and fun films like Street Dancer 3D and Coolie No 1.
