Bollywood has once again experimented with something new with Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma’s ‘Sui Dhaaga’ film. We have always seen makers releasing the trailer and teasers and songs before the film hits the screens. However, the makers of this film, first time released a logo handmade by various artisans across the nation. The logo is done by the method of stitching and you will be just enthralled to peep into the world of colourful threads and needle. The video was released on the occasion of National Handloom Day that is celebrated on August 7 every year.

15 different forms of stitching were used to create the design by these lesser known, extremely talented people from various states of the country. Rabari and Mochi Bharat from Gujarat, Phool Patti from Uttar Pradesh and Zardozi work from Lucknow, Rajasthan’s prominent crafts like Aari, Banjara and Gota Patti, Tamil Nadu’s popular Toda style and Karnataka’s Kasuti design were used to create the logo. Also, one can see Pipli style from Odisha, Handloom work from Assam, Kantha stitch work from West Bengal in this video.
