Times are changing. Bollywood actors are relatively not shy anymore when it comes to talking about their love life, as they used to be. We recently witnessed how Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora posed together for the paparazzi thereby indirectly admitting that they are an item. Even Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt openly go out on dates these days. Then there is Varun Dhawan, of course, who went on record long time back and said that he is in a serious relationship with his childhood friend Natasha Dalal.
Our hearts melted when Varun talked about Natasha on Karan Johar's famous talk show, Koffee With Karan. "I’m with her (Natasha) because she has her own individuality, she has her own voice which is super strong with things she wants to do and things she wants to achieve in life. And, as her partner, that is something I want to support. And, she has been so supportive where my career is concerned, always, from day one actually," he said. Soon there were rumours about them getting married this year. However, Varun's father and filmmaker David Dhawan has quashed all these rumours and said that his son's wedding is not happening this year for sure. "This news is absolutely bogus. No truth in it at all. My son is shooting for Remo D’Souza’s film. Then he starts shooting for my film. There is no question of a wedding this year. If it happens, it will happen next year, not before that. I would like to see him get married. But you think he will listen to me? He can come anytime and announce he’s getting married. My wife and I have to get up and start preparing," David was quoted by Asian Age.
Well, that answers the ultimate question then. Our wait to see Varun as the groom and Natasha as the bride continues. Varun is currently shooting for Street Dancer 3D with Shraddha Kapoor and then he starts shooting for the remake of his dad's Coolie No 1 with Sara Ali Khan.
