Looks like 2020 is going to be big year considering there are too many big films and box office clashes. As of now, we have heard that Aamir Khan's Lal Singh Chaddha will clash with Krrish 4 in December 2020 and then the Eid clash we all know may actually be averted is Salman Khan's Inshallah and Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi. But, looks like the New Year itself will begin with a couple of clashes considering Valentine's Day seems to be a hot pick among directors. Sara Ali Khan and Kartika Aaryan's romantic drama Love Aaj Kal 2 has been one of the most talked about films since its announcement. From Sara and Kartik's off-screen chemistry to her confession about wanting to date Kartik Aaryan on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan, the film has gathered a lot of attention owing to this. A sequel to Imtiaz Ali's 2009 film Love Aaj Kal starring Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan, the film looks like a fresh take on relationships. Ever since we have seen the first look of the film, it did seem like a perfect romance for V day.

Another release lined up for the same day is Mohit Suri's Malang, bringing forth a fresh pairing of Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani. It is set to be a romantic thriller and given that it is Mohit Suri film, we can be rest assured that the music is going to be great and will work well with the Valentine's Day spirit. One of the most recent announcements has been Ayushmann Khurrana's Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan that will be joining Malang and Love Aaj Kal 2 for Valentine's release next year. The film is set to be a gay romantic drama sprinkled with light humour. A teaser of the film was released today and it looks like the film will prove to be a tough competition for the other two. Produced by Aanand L Rai, the film has been directed by Hitesh Kewalya.
