It's only a matter of time before Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam's film Uri: The Surgical Strikes enters the coveted Rs 200 crore club. The military drama has been getting cash registers ringing not just in India but abroad as well ever since it released on January 11. Directed by Aditya Dhar, Uri which also stars Paresh Rawal and Mohit Raina, has fared so well that it has turned out to be the biggest and the first blockbuster of 2019. And Vicky who had a fantastic run in 2018, has also continued to outperform himself with each passing film. Uri - The Surgical Strike Box Office Collection Day 18: Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam Starrer Mints Rs 160.78 Crore.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to microblogging site Twitter a while back and revealed the updated the figures. He wrote, "#UriTheSurgicalStrike is invincible... Fantastic trending... [Third] Tue biz almost at par with [third] Mon, which is a rarity... [Week 3] Fri 4.40 cr, Sat 9.75 cr, Sun 9.20 cr, Mon 3.40 cr, Tue 3.32 cr. Total: ₹ 164.10 cr. India biz. #Uri #HowsTheJosh."

Announcing that Vicky Kaushal starrer is a global hit, Adarsh further tweeted, "#UriTheSurgicalStrike is a global hit... Nears $ 5 mn mark #Overseas... Till 29 Jan 2019: $ 4,861,562 [₹ 34.63 cr]... Apart from Uri, two more films are currently running in the theatres - Kangana Ranaut's ambitious project Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Thackeray.
