Currently, there is no stopping Uri: The Surgical Strike at the Indian box office. The Aditya Dhar directorial, starring Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam in the lead, is faring so well that the film has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in India which is absolutely fantastic. What's even more interesting is that Uri has achieved this milestone in just 10 days. The military drama released on January 11 and garnered not-so-great reviews. However, Vicky's terrific performance didn't go unnoticed and was praised by the critics. As for the audience, well, they are showering their love on the film and the box office figures are the testimony to that fact. Though Emraan Hashmi starrer Why Cheat India and few more films released on Friday, January 18, none of them managed to do well at the box office courtesy Uri's success at the ticket windows. So far Vicky and Yami's film, which has already been declared a superhit, has had a smooth ride at the BO without facing any stiff competition. However, with Kangana Ranaut's much-hyped film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi releasing this Friday, things could slow down for the military drama. But at the moment, it seems Uri is indeed unstoppable.
