Premature balding seems to have caught the attention of Bollywood suddenly and along with Ayushmann Khurrana's Bala, here's another film that will be revolving around the issue -- Sunny Singh's a Ujda Chaman. The film is a remake of the Kannada film Ondu Motteya Kathe, which was also remade in Malayalam, titled as Thamaasha. Ujda Chaman stars Sunny Singh of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety fame in lead, who plays a balding man in the film. Bala Teaser: Ayushmann Khurrana's Bald but Bold Avatar Promises an Entertaining Ride.
The film's story mainly revolves around Chaman Kohli who is a 30-year-old bachelor and a Hindi lecturer with premature balding. He has been seeking a beautiful wife and facing several rejections because of his baldness. He eventually meets an astrologer, who gives him a deadline to find himself a wife or remain a celibate forever. The trailer shows us all the comic moments as Sunny's character tries to confront his fate. It looks like the film will be light-hearted with a message.

Ujda Chaman is all set to release on November 8, which is before Ayushmann Khurrana's Bala that is slated to release on November 22. While we are yet to see Bala's trailer, it will certainly be interesting to see if the two films bear any similarity beyond their core topic of premature balding.
Ujda Chaman also stars Maanvi Gagroo, Saurabh Shukla, Atul Kumar, Grusha Kapoor and Sharib Hashmi in key roles. The film has been directed by Abhishek Pathak and written by Danish J Singh. It is slated to release on November 11.
