Uday Chopra has been away from the media limelight and even the cinematic space for too long now. While everyone wondered where the Dhoom actor has disappeared, no one really thought that he might be battling with depression. As per the latest reports in TOI, he tweeted about not being 'okay' currently. He even said in one of his tweets that he wants to commit suicide. These tweets were soon deleted by the star. In a series of tweets, he wrote, "Confession: I am not ok! I am trying but so far I’m failing." In another one he said, "For a few hours, I De-activated my twitter account. It felt as close to death as I could get. Was phenomenal! I think this is a good good option to suicide. I might be doing it permanently soon." These tweets cannot be seen as of now.

A year ago too, he had spoken at length about depression on his Twitter account. He posted several tweets related to mental illness, asking his fans to seek help in such a scenario.

The son of late filmmaker Yash Chopra and brother of director Aditya Chopra has been part of some of the memorable movies till date. He has worked in films like Mohabbatein, Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Dhoom franchise to name a few. We wonder if these tweets were made in the heat of the moment but hope that he heals from it in the quickest way. No confirmation or denial has been given on the same by the actor yet.
