Huffington Post India did a detailed research on this and got in touch with the alleged victim who, in a statement, has said that she sent an email to Vidhu Vinod Chopra back in November 2018 sharing her ordeal. She also marked Anupama Chopra and Abhijat Joshi who has worked with Hirani on the script of Sanju and a few of his other films earlier. SHOCKING! His lawyer Anand Desai has been quoted saying, “At the outset, our client states that the allegations made against him are false, mischievous, scandalous, motivated and defamatory,” Desai said in an email dated December 5, 2018 to HuffPost India.
