The murder of 3-year-old Twinkle Sharma in Aligarh has left the nation shocked. The heinous crime has left everyone mourning but also outraged due to the sheer lack of humanity that this crime speaks volumes of. Several Bollywood celebrities took to Twitter yesterday to express their disgust over this case as well as ask for speedy justice. On a Twitter post that showed the post mortem report of the 3-year-old's horrific murder, Javed Akhtar commented saying, "This case should be fast-tracked in the courts by daily hearings. Any one can guess the inevitable and obvious verdict of any court on this most heinous crime possible. Wish he could be hanged publicly."

Considering the inhuman nature of this crime, not just Akhtar but several Twitter users are hoping that the culprit gets capital punishment. The nation is now hoping that Twinkle's case is fast-tracked so that justice is served soon.

"The accused have been arrested and they have confessed to the crime. It was a case of personal enmity but there is no sign of rape", Akash Kulhari, SSP Aligarh, told ANI on Thursday.
