23 year old TV actress Moumita Saha decided to end her life by hanging herself from from the ceiling of her room in her flat in southern part of the city's Reagent Park area, Kolkata. it is reported that police broke open the door of the flat  and found Saha hanging from the ceiling of a room of the flat, which she had rented for the last couple of months, they said. It is also reported that Moumita was struggling with hyper depression.

It is not easy to lead a life as a TV star as the path is very dicey. You are either dependent on an ongoing show or harbour the anxiety about your future project which may or may not happen. Add to it the maintenance of a certain lifestyle and the inevitable glam quotient one has to keep up  which make the matters worse for the aspiring stars. Pratysha  Banerjee aka Anandi of the popular tele series Balika Vadhu24-year as found hanging from the ceiling at her flat in Bangur Nagar in Kandivli  in Mumbai. While it is argued that no suicide notes have been found yet, many blamed her tumultuous relationship with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh that led to this ultimate step.

Disha Gnaguly:

21 year old Ganguly was a  popular TV actor for the avid Benagli audience. It was alleged that Disha was in a same sex relationship who to attempted suicide but was saved. Disha was found dead in her flat in Kolkata hanging from the ceiling.

Viveka Babajee:

The model turned actor killed self by hanging from a ceiling  fan in 2010. Her suicide garnered headlines. Her rocky relationship with boyfriend Gautam Vohra was cited to be the reason why Viveka plunged into major depression.

Kuljeet Randhawa:

Justb when her career escalating Randhawa decided to end her life as she could not cope with life's pressure. The 30 year old actor was seen in several shows and had a promising shows lined up for her but she ended her life on February 8, 2006.
