Turkish hackers, Ayyıldız Tim, have struck Bollywood again. This time their target is Kriti Sanon's Twitter handle. The hackers got hold of the Bollywood diva's Twitter account, illegally, of course, and posted a series of tweets against the very social media platform they were using. "Twitter supports terrorists sought by Turkey and we are calling her to authorized admins; We have evidence of your talks. Stop Supporting the terrorists." the hackers posted. To be noted that Ayyıldız Tim has earlier hacked Abhishek Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, Nimrat Kaur, Anupam Kher's Twitter accounts on different occasions to make a political statement. Not to forget that this won't be the first time Kriti has been targeted by the group. A month ago, they had hacked into the actress' Instagram account.

At the time of writing this article, Kriti's account had been restored and all the malicious tweets had been deleted. We were able to get screenshots of the handle from when it was hacked.

Prominent celebrities need to be more alert towards this sort of cybercrime. Moreover, Twitter needs to enhance their security protocols, especially for sensitive accounts like of celebs.

Puducherry Governor Kiran Bedi, actor Anupam Kher, BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav, Pritish Nandy and Rajya Sabha MP Swapan Dasgupta's social media accounts have also been hacked by pro-Pakistan Turkey-based cyber group Ayyildiz Tim.
