We are watching Total Dhamaal right now, and here's what we have to say about the first half -
"Like the first Dhamaal film, the crux of Total Dhamaal is the pursuit of finding a hidden treasure, this time in Jabalpur Zoo. The treasure, in this case, has a background connected to two smugglers, Radhe and Jonny, stolen from a corrupt Police Commissioner. However, the duo are not alone in their search for the stash. Competing with them on this treasure hunt are a squabbling married couple, two sly fire-rescuers and two siblings. Even the Commissioner and his team are on the trail, as everyone finds themselves in crazy and dangerous situations in the greed to find the money. Why, even the interval point arrives with each pair in precarious situations. The first half sticks to the plot, with only one short distraction in Sonakshi Sinha's Mungda song. The rest is a fun ride with each member of the cast trying the best in competing who is funnier than the other. Though, it is still the returning stalwarts, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi and Sanjay Mishra who earn the most laughs. Wish the dialogues had more spark, but the cast more then makes up for that with their chemistry. The scenes have that OTT feel, but that should be expected when you watch a Dhamaal movie. Well, the first half was a fun ride till now. Hope the second half maintains the same tempo and mileage, or get even better."
