After Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy got cash registers ringing, it was Ajay Devgn's multi-starrer which arrived in theatres and stormed the box office. Total Dhamaal, which also stars Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad, and few others, released on February 22 and got off to a flying start. The film, which is a film entertainer directed by Indra Kumar, has been doing exceptionally especially in the mass circuits. And that's one big reason why Total Dhamaal is holding up well at the ticket windows even in its second week. Total Dhamaal Box Office Collection Day 12: Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor's Adventure Comedy Mints Rs 127 Crore.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter a while back and announced the updated figures. He wrote, "#TotalDhamaal is holding very well in mass circuits/single screens... Metros [multiplexes] have slowed down, while Tier-2 cities are strong... [Week 2] Fri 4.75 cr, Sat 7.02 cr, Sun 11.45 cr, Mon 6.03 cr, Tue 3.20 cr, Wed 3 cr. Total: ₹ 130 cr. India biz."

Total Dhamaal, which is co-produced by Devgn, is looking to finish its box office run around Rs 145 crore. While it would be amazing if it entered the Rs 150 crore club, for now, achieving that target seems a bit difficult for the adventure comedy. But you never know what can happen at the BO. So let's hope for the best. Total Dhamaal Box Office Collection Day 11: Ajay Devgn's Multi-Starrer Has a Solid Monday, Earns Rs 123.80 Crore.

Also, since Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Badla is arriving in theatres tomorrow, the competition at the box office will only get fierce.  Not to forget Luka Chuppi, Gully Boy and Uri: The Surgical Strike are also running successfully at the cinema halls currently. So things could slow down for Total Dhamaal but knowing its pan-India appeal, it could survive one more week quite comfortably.
