Ajay Devgn and Indra Kumar's production venture Total Dhamaal has turned out to be a crowd pleaser. The adventure comedy, which stars Ajay in the lead along with Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, and few others, has already become the highest grossing film in the Dhamaal franchise and is now heading towards the Rs 150 crore mark. The film released on February 22 and opened to good reviews from the critics. Since its a family entertainer, Total Dhamaal appealed to a wider audience across India and got cash registers ringing. Total Dhamaal Box Office Collection Day 10: Ajay Devgn's Multi-Starrer Has a Rocking Sunday, Rakes in Rs 117.77 Crore.

The way Ajay starrer has done so far, it seems the film will end up with an impressive total at the ticket windows. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the Twitter and revealed the updated figures for the film. He wrote, "#TotalDhamaal shows excellent hold on [second] Mon... Partial holiday [#Mahashivratri] helps it surpass [second] Fri biz... Will cross ₹ 125 cr today... Eyes ₹ 150 cr... [Week 2] Fri 4.75 cr, Sat 7.02 cr, Sun 11.45 cr, Mon 6.03 cr. Total: ₹ 123.80 cr. India biz."

Directed by Kumar, Total Dhamaal is inspired from the 1963 Hollywood film It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. While this multi-starrer is enjoying a good run at the multiplexes and single screen theatres, there is one more film which is currently ruling the box office and that's Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon's romantic comedy Luka Chuppi. Apart from these two films, Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar's Sonchiriya is also in theatres but the dacoit drama is having a tough time finding an audience. The Abhishek Chaubey directorial released alongside Luka Chuppi on Friday, March 1.
