Indra Kumar's adventure comedy Total Dhamaal has arrived in theatres today and looks like the film will mint good money on day 1. Starring Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Anil Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, and few more stars, the film is a fun family entertainer filled with loads of comic punches, groovy songs, and a crazy storyline. Unlike the last release, Gully Boy, Total Dhamaal isn't Mumbai centric and hence is expected to draw a wider audience at the cinema halls. In fact, the reviews are already in and Ajay starrer seems have impressed the critics. Total Dhamaal Movie Review: Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit’s Madcap Treasure Hunt Is a Surprisingly Fun-Filled Ride With a Few Bumps on the Way.

No wonder, the film has witnessed decent opening in the morning shows as per media reports. According to Boxofficeindia.com, "Total Dhamaal had a good to decent start of around 25% with mass centres opening to good numbers. The overall opening is less than last weeks Gully Boy but that is because Gully Boy released on Valentines Day. If we take out that factor then both films have taken a very similar opening."

Further, the Boxofficeindia report stated, "The film will have to show an upward trend on Saturday which is more difficult for a film which opens well in mass pockets as these don't grow much on Saturday. But it will be a must for Total Dhamaal as the day one will be decent, not big." Total Dhamaal First Reactions: Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor’s Film Is ‘Hilarious’, Say Fans.

As per trade experts, the film should easily end day 1 with double-digit figures. However, since the multi-starrer has opened to decent response, we'll get to know the exact number only by tomorrow. Apart from Total Dhamaal, Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy is also in theatres along with Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike and currently both the films are doing good business at the BO.
