Tiger Shroff on Boom Failure: 'We Had to Sell our Furniture and I had to Sleep on the Floor'
Tiger Shroff recalls the time when Boom's failure took a toll on his family and their financial stability. In his recent interaction with GQ magazine, the War actor reveals how they had to sell their furniture and he had to eventually sleep on the floor.
Jackie Shroff's 2003 release, Boom was a box office failure and you can blame different reasons for same. Firstly, the movie was leaked online even before its release and later critics slammed it left, right and centre. It had a prominent star cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Padma Lakshmi, Gulshan Grover and Jackie Shroff, yet it couldn't survive the box office battle and its after-effects took a huge toll on the entire Shroff family. Though Tiger is one of the most successful actors in Bollywood today, he recalls sleeping on floor after Boom's failure. Speaking about the tough times and how his family faced them, Tiger in his recent interaction with GQ magazine said, "I remember how our furniture was sold off, one by one. Things I’d grown up seeing around us started disappearing. Then my bed went. I started to sleep on the floor. It was the worst feeling of my life.” Tiger Shroff Has a Hilarious Response for a Fan Questioning Him About His Virginity.

From sleeping on the floor to being a proud owner of an 8-BHK flat in one of Mumbai's prime areas, Tiger has definitely come a long way. Coming to his new residence, a report in Mumbai Mirror stated that John Abraham's brother, Alan was assigned the job of its interior designing. "He wants to keep his space contemporary yet minimalistic and will be dedicating considerable space in his new pad to a gym," said a source to the tabloid. Hard work really pays off in the end and this Flying Jatt actor is a classic example of the same.
