Tiger Shroff Is The Youngest Actor In The Rs 200 Crore Club, Thanks To War

Tiger Shroff is the youngest to join the Rs 200 crore club with War and one of the biggest action superstars India has ever seen.

This is a Tiger Shroff appreciation post and it is long overdue. War is a two-hero film and while we can't stop raving about Hrithik Roshan's excellent presence in it, it won't be half as entertaining without Tiger. Remember the twist in the climax? And while War continues to makes its producers richer, there's something that it did that will be discussed for days. Tiger Shroff is just a few films old and already has a Rs 200 crore film in his kitty. In fact, he is the youngest actor to join the coveted club. Others who are part of this club are of course his co-star Hrithik who has two films safely perched on the list. Then there's Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and many more. So War is more than just a milestone for Tiger Shroff!

In an interview to Mid-Day, Tiger had revealed that the reason people didn't like him in Student Of The Year 2 is because he was being experimental. "My audience doesn’t take my experimentation well. Right after Baaghi 2 [2018], I was seen being bullied by college kids in Student Of The Year 2. That wasn’t appreciated by my fans. SOTY 2 recovered the money but didn’t fare as well as we had hoped for. I had a lot of feedback [on the script]. Ahmed sir [director] and the producer [Sajid Nadiadwala] were kind enough to hear my suggestions.”

With War, Tiger has proved that he has found his niche in the industry, a spot that was vacant for years - The Action Hero!
