Sanjay Leela Bhansali has managed to impress his audience with his last period drama ‘Padmaavat’. After investing a lot of efforts in the period drama, the filmmaker is set to give us another mega-budget film, according to the reports in Mumbai Mirror. In this, there will be no Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone unlike his last three films but Tiger Shroff. The film based on a book of Amish Tripathi will be sort of based on the lines of his popular book Shiva trilogy — The Immortals of Meluha.
A source told the tabloid, “Contrary to speculation, the book in question is not The Immortals of Meluha but along similar lines. It is yet to be released and could hit the bookstores around the same time as the film’s arrival if everything falls into place. SLB and Tiger have had several meetings on the subject and both are keen to join hands with Amish on what will undoubtedly be one of the most-talked-about projects in recent times. Tiger is yet to give the nod given his packed schedule but is trying to work out the dates as he doesn’t want to lose out on the opportunity of working with one of his favourite directors.”
There were speculations that it would be Hrithik Roshan who would turn into Shiva in a film based on the adaptation of The Immortals of Meluha. However, with no concrete plan in the place, it got shelved. Amish is known for his bestsellers namely The Immortals of Meluha, The Secret of the Nagas and The Oath of the Vayuputras. Anyone getting a chance to play the lead of the flicks based on these will be a golden opportunity for the star and a treat to his fans. Do you think Tiger is an apt choice to fit into the film?
