The trailer of Thugs of Hindostan is finally here and all those of you who have been wondering if the story is inspired from Johny Depp's Pirates of the Caribbean, the answer is NO! At the trailer launch of the film today, Aamir Khan, who plays one of the Thugs named Firangi, clarified saying, "This is an action adventure film, in that sense that way it is similar. But there is no similarity in the stories of both the film. So yeah, the genre is the same but the story is not." Also, there was another notion about TOH that the makers cleared. Vijay Acharya, the director of the film cleared that Thugs is not based on any book. Earlier it was being said that the film was made on the lines of a book named, Confessions of a Thug. Check out the video below-
Thugs of Hindostan, produced by Yash Raj Films, also stars Lloyd Owen and Ronit Roy and is slated to release eon November 8.
