Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan-starrer Karan Arjun remains one of the most loved and unforgettable movies in the history of Bollywood. From catchy dialogues to the rock-solid on-screen chemistry of the actors, the movie is a treasure in itself. But how would you feel if we said, that when Rakhee Gulzar called out “Mere Karan Arjun aaenge”, instead of Salman and Shah Rukh coming out of the blue, another actor was to make his entry? Well, even we are trying hard to wrap our heads around it. According to the report, the film-maker wanted to cast Ajay Devgn. The report further claimed that Ajay was indeed eager to play the role too, but owing to certain differences, he decided to quit the film and the role eventually landed in Salman’s hand.

Not to forget the other connection Ajay has with the film Karan Arjun. The film starred Ajay’s wife Kajol, who played Shah Rukh’s love interest. Karan Arjun was nominated for 10 Filmfare Awards and had won for Best Action and Best Editing. We have had the chance to see Ajay and Salman share screen space several times, such as Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Son of Sardar. However, it would be interesting to watch SRK and Ajay work their magic together on the 70 mm screen.
