It is no more a new thing that the filmmakers have to face a major financial loss at the box office due to this. Despite many warnings and steps taken to curb this problem, unfortunately, the piracy sites have been successful in leaking the film on the internet. An online piracy site called TamilRockers has been known for leaking almost all popular films including Bollywood, Hollywood, South films as well as series. If we go by the history of this site, they are usually guilty of leaking full films in HD Free Download formats. The users search with the words like 'The Zoya Factor Full Movie' in 1080p, 720p, HD online formats. It is indeed a shame that the filmmakers and the cast/crew has to face the unwanted situation, after every release. The site has been given several ultimatums but the owners adamantly leak the films online, the very next day of the release. Recently, other films like Saaho, Dear Comrade, Hobbs & Shaw, Aadai etc were also leaked online by the same site.

Such leaks are meant to hamper the box office collections. The fans resort to unethical tactics like downloading the free movie online in order to save a few bucks. Not only are they encouraging such sites to leak more films but also in a way disrespecting the the efforts of the hundreds of people who worked on the film project. Well, yet another film has fallen prey to this norm and we wonder what step will be taken to curb this.
