The Lion King: Shah Rukh Khan Shares How Working With Son Aryan Khan Was Special for This Disney Drama (Watch Video)

The Lion King released in India in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. The Hindi version though has been special considering Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan turned voice actors for it. While Shah Rukh voiced the character of Mufasa, his son Aryan Khan voiced the character of Simba. Here's what Shah Rukh Khan had to say about working with his son.

The Lion King hit the screens last Friday and for the Indian fans, it was a double treat given that the Hindi version of the film had voiceover by Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan. After the teasers with Shah Rukh's voice as Mufasa and Aryan's voice as Simba were released, fans were extremely thrilled to watch the father-son come together for the Disney drama. In a video speaking about his experience of working on the film, Shah Rukh recounts what's special about this Disney drama. The actor reveals how The Lion King is special considering it has no human characters but it is special given that the animals invoke emotions in the film. It has of course been even more special for the Zero star considering he got to share this with his son Aryan Khan.

Speaking about working with Aryan, he said, "When we didIncredibles, Aryan was 9 and it was really sweet to hear his voice. The Lion King English version also consisted of some big names such as Donald Glover, Beyonce Knowles Carter, James Earl Jones, Billy Eichner, Seth Rogen and Bill Hader among others. The film has received a great response from the audiences so far. The film's box office collections in India in two days went upto Rs 50 crores which is quite impressive. At the US box office, the film roared huge numbers with an opening weekend collection of $185 million.

Directed by Jon Favreau, who also helmed the successful live-action film The Jungle Book, this film released in India in Tamil, Telugu and English.
