The makers of The Accidental Prime Minister have released the official first picture of the Cabinet! Anupam Kher, dressed as Manmohan Singh, has taken over the center stage, while he is surrounded by the rest of the cast. The entire frame holds an austere vibe that simply asks us to be prepared for one rollercoaster ride of the Cabinet house.
The ensemble cast includes Aahana Kumra (previously appeared in Lipstick Under My Burkha) essaying the role of Priyanka Gandhi, Arjun Mathur playing Rahul Gandhi, Akshaye Khanna as Sanjay Baru, Ram Avtar Bharadwaj playing the role of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Divya Seth Shah playing Manmohan's onscreen wife, Gursharan Kaur and Suzanne Bernert as Sonia Gandhi. The movie is based on the book authored by Sanjaya Baru, which shook the nation to its core.
The image shows a striking similarity between the actors with respect to their characters (in terms of looks). It's a pretty captivating frame. We're certain that without us pointing out which character is playing which role, you wouldn't be able to guess! The film is directed by Vijay Gutte with Hansal Mehta playing the creative producer. Ever since the shooting of the film commenced, veteran actor Anupam Kher has been constantly putting put posts on his social media accounts to give fans a peek at what to expect from the film. He sure is very excited to see the film release. Set to release on December 21, 2018, the film might face political pressure and oppositions.
Although they have taken all the necessary precautions to ensure nothing of that sort happens, the story in itself attracts a lot of attention since it speaks of the former Prime Minister of the country. Let's hope that the political fanatics don't find ways to use this as a means to propagate troubles for the movie.
