We had reported about how Rishi Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi are coming together for the first time for a thriller. The movie is directed by Malayalam film-maker Jeethu Joseph, who is making his Bollywood debut here. Know for making mystery thrillers, Jeethu is most famous for making the Mohanlal blockbuster Drishyam, that had been remade into Bollywood under the same name with Ajay Devgn in the lead. Jeetu is known for making Aadhi, that has been the launchpad for Mohanlal's son Pranav. Aadhi turned out to be a huge hit when it released earlier this year.

Rishi Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi have already begun shooting for the movie, and the veteran actor has shared a picture of them along with the director. He captioned the picture as, "Wonderful working with our director Jitu Joseph and the evergreen actor,lover and the gracious well mannered Emran Hashmi. Mauritius. “The Body” (hope that’s the title)". So is The Body really the title of the movie?

For the uninitiated, Jeetu Joseph's film is an official remake of the 2012 Spanish thriller El Cuerpo (English translation: The Body). Here's a one-liner of the plot sourced from the IMDB - "A detective searches for the body of a femme fatale which has gone missing from a morgue." El Cuerpo has got really good reviews during its release and currently, has 7.6 rating on IMDB. While The Body as a title goes well with the premise of the Bollywood remake, the English title might alienate some of the Hindi-speaking audiences.

The movie also marks the debut of the South actress Vedhika Kumar. Sobhita Dhulipala, who was seen in Raman Raghav 2.0, Chef and Kaalakaandi, is also playing one of the female leads in the movie. The Body (?) is produced by Sunir Kheterpal and Viacom18 Motion Pictures.
