.Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a brilliant actor and there are no two ways for that. The only actor who has tried and nailed three different biopics deserves a round of applause and appreciation for the same. While trailer of his next film, Thackeray, is loaded with some 'wow' moments, it's his brilliant portrayal of late Balasaheb Thackeray that deserves whistles and a pat on his back. However, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has raised an objection to three scenes and two dialogues from the film. The objections were heard and conveyed even before the trailer was released for the masses and we wonder if the makers will have any qualms regarding the chopping of these scenes. Even Before its Release, Makers of Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Thackeray are Planning a Sequel to it.

CBFC had issues with the reference of Babri Masjid. And the second objection was the dialogue 'Yandu Gundu' which was used against the South Indian community staying in Mumbai. Later they had issues with has some objectionable words. For a biopic on a personality as huge as his, it's necessary for the makers to go ahead with CBFC's suggestions, that would further help in getting it a smooth release. Thackeray Trailer: Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the Late Shiv Sena Supremo Spews Fire Through His Eyes and Lines - Watch Video.

On being asked about the CBFC's demand, Nawazuddin told Times Now, "I am super excited to play a character like Bal Thackeray on screen. Yes, I got to know about CBFC cuts but I can't speak much about it. Playing Bal Thackeray is like a dream and I am very happy about it." The movie is slated to release on January 25, 2019, and clash with Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi, Emraan Hashmi's Cheat India and Hrithik Roshan's Super 30. The Republic Day next year seems to be overcrowded! We sincerely hope any of the players decides to back off and enjoy a solo run somewhere else.
