Bollywood is a vast space and the content is varied. From entertaining mass to inspiring them, the industry is the home where the heart goes to seek answers. The most important part of Bollywood is songs. Even though we all love the making of Hollywood films but when it comes to the industry back home, we cannot really survive without songs. Other than entertaining us with the soothing or peppy nature of the tracks, some of the brilliant pieces also teach us a thing or two.

On Teacher’s Day, we can take a look at the songs that actually played the role of a healer. The lyrics or the picturizing of these tracks are so impactful that one can simply listen to them to get into a peaceful mindset or get a whole new perspective on something.

Ye Tara Wo Tara- This song from Swades is probably carved in practically every Bollywood fans’ mind. The way Shah Rukh Khan teaches the importance of ‘unity in diversity’ to the children in the village with the help of the examples of ‘stars’ is simply beautiful.

Tu Dhoop Hai- This one from Taare Zameen Par is for those who are hiding their talents behind the curtains of fear. ‘Tu dhoop hai chann se bikhar, tu hai nadi o bekhabar’ and more lines like these in the song is like a perfect push in the right direction.

Tu Naa Jaane Aas Paas Hai Khuda- When you lose hopes in life, this son from Anjaana Ajaani works like a miracle. The song teaches us that supreme power always has your back, all you have to do is keep walking through the tough times, expecting good things soon.

Kinare- The track from Queen is like a company to your lonely soul. It’s a lovely reminder that even a tiny ray of hope when your lonely, can lead you to the open gateway of bright sunshine, provided you keep trying genuinely.

Yeh Honsla- Dor gave us this amazing rendition of ‘hope’. The track reminds us that the way to the destination will seem impossible at times. However, the inner strength, will-power and perseverance has to make you a winner ultimately.

We have more such songs that teach us the little things in our day-to-day lives which we invariably forget to celebrate. Tell us your favourite one in the comments section below.
