Tara Sutaria to Follow in the Footsteps of Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra and Shraddha Kapoor, Will Make Her Singing Debut in RX 100 Remake

We have seen a recent trend of actors turning singers for their films. From Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra and Shraddha Kapoor to the latest rap sensation, Ranveer Singh, all have tried their hands at hitting the mic. The latest to join this bandwagon is going to Karan Johar's new 'Student', Tara Sutaria. The actress who is making her film debut with Punit Malhotra's Student Of The Year 2, will also soon be making her singing debut with her second film, RX 100 remake. According to reports, Tara will be crooning a romantic track in the film.

RX 100 is the remake of a Telugu film and will mark the debut of Suniel Shetty's son, Ahaan Shetty. The film will be an action entertainer. "The plot of the film is very intriguing. It is a love saga which will leave the audience surprised. It's a stark love story, with both the leads having strong parts. I have seen Tara and Ahan perform together during the rehearsal workshops and they have immense chemistry. We first discovered Tara's singing talents when she crooned a beautiful track on Karan Johar's talk show, Koffee With Karan. She later also sang the classic "Lag Ja Gale" at the trailer launch of Student Of The Year 2 and left everyone impressed.

Reports suggest that it was producer Sajid Nadiadwala who was highly impressed with Tara's singing and suggested about her having a song in the film. Director Milan Luthria immediately agreed. Buzz is that even though Tara will make a singing debut with this film, she plans to further release an album of her original tracks. Well, we can't wait to hear more of Tara's voice soon. In the meantime, Student of The Year 2 is all set to release next month on May 10.
