And while no one bothered to pay any heed to her then, she was determined to seek justice in 2018. However, her fight to seek justice came to a dead end when police officials closed down her ongoing sexual harassment case against Nana Patekar. The B- Summary report filed by the Oshiwara police in Mumbai said that the actress was maybe planning to take revenge against the actor and that her complaint was malicious and fake.

The conclusion report by the cops states that in 2008 when Tanushree filed a complaint against the actor, witnesses were asked to recall the incident and none could support the actress' claims. Police were unable to find any evidence to support her allegations, so the complaint could be out of revenge and that it seems malicious and fake. Though the actress is miffed with the entire situation, she isn't shocked or stunned as she saw it coming. Tanushree had earlier tagged the police officials and the system as 'corrupt' after they decided to give a clean chit to the actor.
