Tanushree Dutta and Nana Patekar's case is almost at the verge of seeing an end. The actress had filed an FIR against Bollywood actor Nana Patekar for touching her inappropriately on the sets of 2009 film Horn Ok Pleassss in 2018. However, a year later, Mumbai police has given a clean chit to Nana, tagging Tanushree's complaint as malicious and fake. Now, in a new development, the witnesses who were present during the shoot claimed that Nana and Tanushree were several feet away from each other. Tanushree Dutta Claims Nana Patekar Threatened and Pressurised her Witnesses in Every Way.

Choreographer Ganesh Acharya's then assistant told Indian Express, "Nana Pateker was standing behind Tanushree Dutta. There was a gap of several feet between them. We were standing next to the cameraman at the foot of the stage when the music started to play. 10-15 seconds later, Tansuhree Dutta suddenly walked away in anger. No one could understand what had happened."

Another junior choreographer was quoted saying, "They were to enact the same dance movements but they weren't dancing close to each other." Tanushree's lawyer however dismissed the claims.

On the other hand, the Aashiq Banaya Aapne actress is miffed with the verdict of the case. She accused Mumbai Police of taking a bribe for closing the case and calling her complaint 'fake and malicious.' Mumbai police had filed a ‘B Summary’ closure report. This report is filed when the investigation has to be closed due to lack of evidence.
