Navaratri 2019 has officially commenced and just as everyone is getting into the festive spirit, Bollywood celebrities too are enjoying their film promotions by grooving to some Garba beats. After we saw Priyanka Chopra Jonas having a great time in Ahmedabad, the Saand Ki Aankh actresses, Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu too were spotted attending the Dandiya night in Mumbai. The duo attended an event in Borivali, featuring the famed singer Falguni Pathak. Both Taapsee and Bhumi took to Instagram to share pictures and videos from their fun evening. Sharing a video from the event where Taapsee took to stage for the promotions, she wrote, "And that’s the grand welcome I’m talking about!#SaandKiAankh." With another picture, Taapsee wrote, "This was such an amazing experience !!! Thank you, everyone, for giving us such a warm welcome and so much love to #SaandKiAankh."

Navaratri is a celebration spread over nine days as devotees of Goddess Durga worship the deity. Navaratri is also celebrated by wearing nine different colours over the festival period. It is also an amazing time for friends and families to get together and dance to the Gujarati folk beats. The duo will be next seen in the Saand Ki Aankh where they are playing the role of older woman who are sharpshooters. The film is based on real-life sisters, Chandro and Prakashi Tomar who have won medals in their late sixties as sharpshooters.
