It was only yesterday when Swara Bhasker gave a befitting reply to Vivek Agnihotri for slut-shaming her in public. This ugly saga started when Swara voiced her support for the Kerala Nun Rape controversy and Vivek mocked her for the same. However, the Veere Di Wedding actress was pissed at the way he tried to abuse her and she reported his same tweet to Twitter India. Fortunately, Twitter took a note of her request and asked Agnihotri to delete his tweet or the consequence could result in his account getting blocked. Swara Bhasker took to her Twitter account to thank Twitter India for helping her stand against cyberbullying and abuse against women. She wrote, 'Thank you @TwitterIndia @TwitterSupport 4 taking cognisance of @vivekagnihotri ā€˜s abusive tweet. And making him delete it! No tolerance 4 cyber bullying & abuse of women on public platforms! (Or private - but one thing at a time) Thank uĀ #SayNoToBullying'.Ā Ā 

Swara's efforts were lauded by the industry people and celebs like Richa Chadha and Shruti Seth came out in her support. Of course, this is a big deal for her haters since no one has any right to abuse or mock anyone. It was time someone stood up and we are glad it was someone as fearless as Swara.
