An online portal quoted a source as saying, "There are two stories that Sush is going through, and one of them has her playing a policewoman from Madhya Pradesh. Sushmita last played a cop in the 2003 film Samay, and she wants this character to be very different from that."

The source further told the entertainment portal, "She’s also been approached with an offer by Mudassir Aziz.
