Sushmita Sen Reveals Rohman Shawl Slid into Her DM on Instagram but There Is Something Serendipitous about It - Watch Video

Sushmita Sen has set the record straight. She has finally revealed how she met her boyfriend, Rohman Shawl. We love seeing the pictures of the gorgeous couple and always wondered how they met.  For the longest stories were afloat that these two met at a fashion event. But turns out, that is not true at all. The actress was speaking to Rajeev Masand for his 'Women We Love' video series, where she revealed how she found Rohman. Upon being asked, Sushmita said, "Everyone gets it wrong all the time. Some say we met at some fashion show or at some event. No! Actually, we didn't. It's a very very beautiful serendipity story. He sent me a direct message on Instagram. And I didn't check directs messages because I was not sure if you check it, and allow that person to start communication with you. So, I had too many of these direct messages. I hadn't open any," Sushmita Sen and Boyfriend Rohman Shawl are Soaking Up Some San Francisco Sun - See Pics.

"Touch phone screen ki jai ho because I was scrolling through the messages to see what all has been sent to me. While I was scrolling, someone broke something in the room and I looked up and started talking to that person. When I came back [to the phone screen], I had opened up a DM and it was a message from him," Sushmita revealed.

Sushmit was not attracted to the handsome face right away. "The first thing I did was read that message. It was a message from a very compassionate, warm person," she said, adding, "Then I opened his account. I look at the person and say 'Yea, the face matches the voice',"

Sushmita replied to his message, thanking him for such warm words and wished him good luck and moved on. Rohman, excitedly, replied to the message. "You made me smile again," Sushmita responded. For the next month, the two did not share any correspondence, while Sushmita was in the US.

When Sushmita came back to India, the two started chatting again. Rohman invited Sushmita to watch him play football. The actress suggested that they go out for a coffee instead. And, voila! Tumse Mil Ke Dil Ka Hai Jo Haal Kya Kahein! What a lovely story.
