Popular actor Sushant Singh, who had hosted the crime-based show Savdhaan India for years, took part in anti-CAA protests in Kalina, Mumbai. After which, he tweeted that his journey with his TV show has come to an end. There is no clarification at the moment if his political stand is in direct correlation with what happened to him on the professional front. However, when one of his fans tweeted that this was the price he had to pay for showing solidarity, Sushant tweeted, "A very small price my friend. भगत सिंह, सुखदेव और राजगुरु को जवाब कैसे देंगें?"
As the news of Sushant's ouster from the show reached masses, he has been receiving outpouring support on social media.
