Super 30 Box Office Collection Day 4: Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur Starrer Biographical Drama Remains Stable on Monday Despite Witnessing a Dip
After taking a double-digit opening and witnessing an upward trend on Saturday and Sunday, Super 30 performed well even on its first Monday despite registering a dip in its collection. The film is eyeing to collect Rs 75 crore in week 1.
After entering the Rs 50 crore club in the opening weekend itself, Hrithik Roshan's latest release Super 30 also passed the crucial Monday test at the Indian box office. Though the biographical drama co-starring Mrunal Thakur witnessed a dip in its collection on day 4, it still clocked in good amount of moolah at the ticket windows. Helmed by Vikas Bahl, the movie opened to good reviews from the critics and that surprised many as the trailer of biopic had failed to pack a solid punch. Hrithik's performance, especially, left everyone impressed. And now Super 30 is going steady and getting cash registers ringing as well. On Monday, Hrithik starrer raked in a little over Rs 7 crore, bringing its total four-day collection to Rs 57.86 crore which is a pretty good figure. Revealing the same, film trade analyst Sumit Kadel took to Twitter a while back and wrote, "#Super30 witnesses approx 40% drop on Monday compared to Friday. Film rakes ₹ 7.10-7.20 cr nett. Total- ₹ 57.86 cr nett. Strong hold is crucial in coming days to post a decent lifetime collection."
Further, Boxofficeindia.com has reported, "The drop on Monday is around 40% which is better than normal but considering the huge Saturday growth a better hold could have been expected. Going by the current trend, it seems Super 30 will end week 1 at around Rs 75 crore. If the film continues to hold up well at the ticket windows even on weekdays then Hrithik's latest outing will comfortably surpass the Rs 100 crore mark at the domestic box office by next week.
